At a special viewing of Salvatore Arancio's 'garden installation', a series of performances activate the space. The performances will be repeated on Saturday 20 and Sunday 21 June at 4.00pm.  

Working across a range of media including sculpture, collage, animation and video, Salvatore Arancio’s main interests lie in the potential of images. For the Fellowship, Arancio is looking to create works that are inspired by different forms of representation of the grotesque and the natural and their relationships to popular myths.

Salvatore Arancio (b. 1974). Solo and group shows include; Une Taxonomie des Sens et des Formes, Centre d'art contemporain La Halle des bouchers, Vienne, France (2015); PROJECT 09, Contemporary Art Society, London, (2015); The Hidden, Ensapc Ygrec, Paris, France (2014); Curiosity: Art & the Pleasure of Knowing, Hayward touring show, UK (2013-14); Cyclorama, Museo Tamayo Arte Contemporáneo, Mexico City, Mexico (2013); Alternating Layers of Contrasting Resistance, Rowing, London (2013); The Little Man of the Forest with the Big Hat, Federica Schiavo Gallery, Rome, Italy (2013). Forthcoming shows include: The London Open 2015, Whitechapel Gallery, London (2015) and a solo presentation at Kunsthalle Winterthur, Winterthur, Switzerland in 2016.
