Over the last year erect architecture and artist Ashley McCormick have been explore the wild edges of the garden at the Camden Arts Centre in order to discover new ways of looking, learning, and being in this space. Ashley has been working closely with pupils from nearby Holy Trinity Primary School and local families, exploring the exhibitions in the galleries and discovering and observing how the garden changes over the seasons.
Working with artists, architects, gardeners and scientists, families and students this residency has been an experiment in collaboration developing an exciting new space for visitors to Camden Arts Centre and an ongoing platform from which to commission new artworks and build new partnerships.
In April 2012 erect architecture install the structures which have been designed and developed over the past year.
